Canberra Carpenters / Builders focused on Quality: Tigermade Constructions

It’s true, local Canberra company Tigermade Constructions can build you just about anything. They boast over twenty years experience in all kinds of building, both commercial and residential.

“There’s no job too small,” says Co-Founder Neil Irwin, “we build decks, pergolas, bathrooms, extensions, kitchens, flooring. We can even build you a floating bar for your man cave, you name it.”

These days it takes a bit more than that to stand out from the crowd. Nobody likes to do things twice so people are looking for quality over quantity, work that’s built to last, that’s why it’s important to get the job done right the first time.

“We really put a big emphasis on quality workmanship, in some cases even over engineering a solution to ensure longevity.”

If that isn’t already music to your ears, Tigermade also operates on the motto of Building with Integrity. What does that mean?

“It means we will stick by our word, not just in our work but also with our customers, if we say we’ll be there – we’ll be there.”

Finally! An honourable company you can be proud to work with. Of course they are fully licenced, fully insured builders you can trust.

Based in Woden, Canberra you can get in touch with Tigermade Constructions using their website.

We’ve been promising the release of ozLance version 2.0 for many months prioir. Well finally it’s launched as of last week. We hope you enjoy the new site and appreciate your feedback.

Some immediate changes you will notice:
* The old ozLance site has been closed
* Your login details (username and password) will remain the same

In this short week we have received almost 100 feedback emails and are doing our best to reply to you all.

There are many more features throughout the site! Some recent changes worth noting:

* Experience points (XP) – These are points that you accumulate simply by using ozLance. Your XP and Level is an indicator of how long you have been using ozLance.

* Freelancers, the more XP points you have the more priority your questions and quotes get. Your reputation badge is also shown to clients.

* Clients, you can now send Private Messages to Freelancers who have contacted you.

* Freelancers have been spamming Clients with contact details, websites and instructions using the Question feature. Clients can now say “No Thanks!” to Questions, this will penalise the Freelancer by removing XP points.

* Our location fields did not support people who reside in the UK. Sorry guys! We have fixed this now, you can enter 6 digit zip codes and international phone numbers.

* Freelancers: If you have been migrated from the old ozLance platform, you must set up your Freelance profile using the new system before you can acccess all the features of the site. Do this by completeing the steps on the Provide Freelance Services page.

* You can now delete your account from ozLance by visiting My Account after logging in. This will destroy your account and cannot be undone.

Frag Networks would like to take this oppourtunity to thank you all for your support and patience during our launch period. We are still ironing out some flaws in the site but have had less bugs than anticipated.

Stay tuned for more updates.

A young Victorian man has developed a simple system bringing road transporters and customers together, boosting efficiency and eliminating empty running where possible.

Over the past few weeks logging onto the website Freight Match has revealed a countdown to the launch of a new service linking carriers and those requiring cartage. From day one the invitation to register interest in Freightmatch has created considerable attention in trucking and already a long list of carriers, many of those large and high-profile companies in road transport, has been compiled.

Freightmatch is designed, as the name suggests, to align all types of haulage with companies running to various destinations, matching operating equipment with the freight task. Hugh McDougall is the young man behind the idea and while he has limited experience in the world of general cartage he is acutely aware of the need to achieve optimal utilisation of road transport equipment. ozLance Australia is a new Australian based website portal targeting the needs of many business professionals. ozLance.com.au offers a convenient service for both freelance professionals looking for work and clients looking to outsource a project. The Australian freelancing industry has largely been untapped so far, simply for the fact that most companies who offer a similar service are based in the USA.

ozLance.com.au is therefore filling a much needed gap in the Australian and New Zealand marketplace. Previously it has been quite frustrating for clients and freelancers alike to outsource and find jobs due to long distance communication problems and delays.
Because of the convenience of locality, professionals can now communicate through ozLance’s inbuilt private messaging system. It makes for faster and speedier completion of awarded jobs. (more…)

Outsourcing projects online has many benefits for business owners. If you run a business  as an Australian Webmaster, Small Business Owner, EBay Store Owner/Seller, Publisher, Real Estate Agent, Photographer or similar, then you know how important it is to outsource projects to capable professionals. Smart business owners recognize the fact that they don’t need to know everything to be successful. Instead they can free up valuable time by outsourcing jobs to freelancers.

Business owners not only save time by dealing directly with the freelancer. But they also save a lot of money as freelancers generally work from home. They won’t be paying for inflated office related costs and extra staff. They can also effectively cut out the middle man. For small business owners this can mean a huge difference between survival and bankruptcy. They can outsource work cheaply and fast which will launch their business much quicker. By concentrating on their own skills it will empower them to get things done more effectively. Why waste valuable time trying to do what you are lacking in skills. (more…)
